How Round Table Pizza Began

It all started in 2009 when founder Marco Delgado opened the doors of Round table pizza at 504 Center Ave in Martinez, CA with a simple belief: great pizza brings people together. Inspired by generations of family recipes and a love for fresh, quality ingredients, Marco crafted a menu that honored tradition while embracing bold new flavors.

The concept of the "round table" was never just about the shape of our pies — it was a philosophy. Every meal here is shared, every voice at the table matters, and every customer becomes part of our story. We named ourselves Round table pizza because we believe food is about community, not hierarchy.

2009

The First Slice

Marco Delgado opens the doors of Round table pizza at 504 Center Ave, Martinez. The opening weekend sells out every pie within 3 hours.

2011

Menu Expansion

We introduced our signature deep-dish and stuffed crust lines alongside a new selection of craft salads and house-made pasta dishes.

2014

Best Pizza Award

Round table pizza was voted "Best Pizza in Contra Costa County" by the Bay Area Foodies Guide — a recognition we're incredibly proud of.

2016

Catering Launch

We launched our full-service catering division, bringing the round table experience to corporate events, weddings, and community gatherings across the Bay Area.

2019

10 Years Strong

We celebrated our 10th anniversary with a community block party, free pizza for 500 guests, and the unveiling of our redesigned dining room — all while staying true to our roots.

2024

Online Ordering & New Kitchen

We upgraded our kitchen with state-of-the-art Italian stone ovens and launched our online ordering system so you can enjoy round table pizza from anywhere.
